Haley Mowery - Harpeth Hall School
Working with orphans in Uganda was such a blessing. God was evident in every single thing we did and saw throughout the day. It’s cliché, but I gained so much more from the kids and their smiling faces than what they could ever gain from me. Now, I really understand why God calls us to serve the helpless.

Meredith Manning - Harpeth Hall High
Our team's trip to Uganda with Heal Ministries is one I will never forget. Tina is an inspirer, and all of our mission work was enhanced by her love and years of investment in her passion for orphans and widows. My time in Jinja, Uganda was a trip that truly changed my heart and instilled that passion in me too. I am so thankful for the opportunity and incredible experience Heal Ministries has brought me!

Matt King – Wake Forest

“Being able to do mission work in Belize was an amazing experience. Far from normal and even comfortable, I was thrown into a random picture surrounded by God’s creations. The unfamiliarity pushed for learning, and that is exactly what happened. I learned more than predicted or can be expressed. The Lord was good and was with our team each moment. It was amazing to be a part of such a journey.”

Jeff Orr – Auburn University
“After going on a Heal ministries mission trip with Tina, I was able to get a taste of the passion she has for missions work. The passion I experienced reflected through the preparation and organization of the trip. Tina’s passion for the people is yet another reason that my time in Belize was so valued. She loves spending time with them, teaching them how to love each other and about God’s love for them. My experience was truly life-changing and I grew spiritually.”

John Michael Galbraith – UT
“The trip I went on with Heal Ministries was one of the best mission trips I’ve ever been on. We went to Belize City. I have been on a fairly large number of trips before, but there was something about the small family feel of this trip that made a big difference. This led to a much more personal approach to interacting with the people of Belize and it transferred over into our work making relationships not only easy, but natural.”
