Project: Get off your back and pack for the homeless!We need people to provide backpacks and the contents to go in them. You can help by providing an entire backpack full OR whatever items you desire to donate will be appreciated! Heal Ministries will be providing backpacks with nonperishable items that different organizations distribute throughout these listed cities during their nightly food distributions. We need your help! Get your organization, school, sorority, fraternity, classroom, Sunday School Class, small group, etc. involved today! Look at the list and let us know what you can provide and how you can help and what group you are getting to get off their back and pack for us! Each backpack will contain the following: ![]() Clothing items: 1 t shirt 2 pairs of packaged underwear/panties (medium or large) 2 pairs of socks (wool in colder months) 1 hooded sweatshirt 1 wool hat/stocking cap (colder months) 2 pairs of gloves (colder months) 1 blanket 1 pack of hand warmers (colder months) Toiletry items:1 hairbrush and/or comb 1 toothbrush and toothpaste 1 dental floss 2 shampoos (travel size) 1 deodorant 1 lotion 1 sunscreen 1 small box of tampons and pads 1 small package of wet wipes 2 bars of soap 1 small bottle of germex 2 rolls of toilet paper 1 small first aid kit Misc. Items: 1 small towel and washrag 2 bottles of water 4-5 non-perishable food items (crackers, granola bars, small canned food items) 2 pens 1 journal 1 Bible (Lifeway provides paperback Bibles for $1 for missions) $5 MacDonalds gift certificates 1 single ride Bus Pass or metro subway pass rain poncho |
